Bebe da inspiração e dimensão histórica deste local mágico e de toda a sua área envolvente. The overall look has been created by materials and shapes that repeat throughout the decoration, such as walnut wood, Nero Marquina marble, and gilded brass – materials characterised by timelessness and luxury.

NICOLA AS AN INSPIRATION
The Nicola Rossio Hotel is located on the western side of central Pombaline Lisbon, in the very heart of the capital, sharing a wall with the iconic, centuries-old Café Nicola. The hotel drinks from the inspiration and historical dimension of its magical location and the entire surrounding area. The overall look has been created by materials and shapes that repeat throughout the decoration, such as walnut wood, Nero Marquina marble, and gilded brass – materials characterised by timelessness and luxury.

A PLACE FOR COMFORT
The entire spirit of the locale is accentuated by details within the furniture, geometric shapes, and mirrors. The sage green colour used throughout the hotel seems to have seeped out of the two imposing bronze iron statues resting in the fountains of Rossio Square, which, having oxidised over the years, have a greenish hue. Also notable is the use of black and white. Inspired by the Portuguese paving arranged in waves across Rossio Square, monochrome can be seen echoed throughout the Nicola Rossio Hotel.

WHY STAY WITH US?
I would recommend this hotel to all!! I really appreciated its amazing staff especially Nara and Nicoli at the reception. It’s such a pretty boutique hotel and had the added wonderful bonus of Los Chavetes as the place where the breakfast was served. . . . . . .

Would come back again. The hotel is in the best location, right behind Rossio Square, around the corner to the train station and shopping street, and a short walk to get the tram. It was also very clean and modern, staff were very lovely too. Considering our window was facing Rossio square, the rooms are well soundproofed, couldn’t hear much at all, it was a fantastic view facing Castelo de S Jorge. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, so can’t comment on that but the breakfast is supplied by the adjacent restaurant. The rooms were small but it was perfect because we were out all day and didn’t need much space anyway. Well decorated and pretty. Fantastic hotel, would come back again. . . . .

We will certainly come back again! Breakfast was sufficient and of the best quality. Coffee could be reordered at any time. The location was very central and optimal. Despite the hustle and bustle on the streets, the room was extremely quiet. . . . . . . .
